Neste post, reuni detonados, trapaças e dicas do desafiador R.C. Grand Prix, em sua versão de Master System, um jogo que traz um campeonato de carrinhos de controle remoto off road e pode ser disputado sozinho ou com até outras 3 pessoas na mesma partida.
Desenvolvido pela Absolute Entertainment e lançado em 1989, este game conta com visão top-down, gráficos isométricos, controles que lembram os do Death Rally, upgrades em formas de peças mais eficientes pros carros e também uma versão para Game Gear.

Achei o vídeo acima bem feito e compreensivo, e, embora não tenha sido publicado especificamente como um detonado, com certeza pode ajudar como tal, por mostrar como o jogador foi capaz de zerar, com a configuração do carro e tal. Mas se quiser uma outra playthrough, temos também.
A senha abaixo te dá a mamata do seu dinheiro nunca acabar, mas precisa do Action Replay, um dispositivo tipo Game Genie, ou seja, um aparelho que permite ativar trapaças e/ou modificar umas paradas nos jogos. Dá pra ativar a seguinte password em emuladores como Emulicious (Tools > Cheats) e Fusion (File > Game Genie / PAR), caso você não tenha o periférico físico aí:

It was only natural that a racing game would be made featuring these. The aim of this game is to win through a series of increasingly difficult races and become the grand champion remote control car driver. Placing last or running out of time in any race means it is game over! ====================================================================== 4. _____ _______ Controls /_()__()_ [CNTRLS] ====================================================================== These controls are among the simplest of any game I have ever played. You shouldn't really need this section. Left directional button - Steer left, move cursor left in shops. Right directional button - Steer right, move cursor right in shops. Up directional button - Only used to change between entering the shop or not. Down directional button - Only used to change between entering the shop or not. Button 1 - Go faster, start game, choose an item in shop, progress to next screen. Each part has either two or three possible upgrades. My advice - ONLY buy the Ultra parts! Motor: High Torque Motor $120 High Speed Motor $140 Ultra Motor $180 Motor upgrades make your car MUCH faster. They drain the batteries though. Tires: Improved Tires $130 Ultra Tires $190 The most expensive parts, these make the car easier to corner. Suspension: Improved Suspension $125 Ultra Suspension $180 Similar to tires, makes cornering easier. Gears: High Torque Gears $120 High Speed Gears $150 Ultra Gears $180 Gears will make your vehicle a bit quicker, but not as much as a motor will. Batteries: High Current Batteries $130 Ultra Batteries $180 Batteries increase your vehicle speed and the power boost will last for the whole race, unlike a motor upgrade. ====================================================================== 7. _____ _______ Strategies /_()__()_ [STRTGS] ====================================================================== Only buy Ultra type parts. Anything else is a waste of money. Can't say this enough. All tracks as shown are raced anticlockwise. In every case (except for the drag race of course), the first corner is a LEFT turn. Hold down button 1 at all times for every race (except the drag race) - there is no need at all to not do so, even if you get stuck by turning too early. Where there are crossings on a track, you can push vehicles onto the wrong track. Not advised, but still fun to see a car disappear into the distance. There are multiple ways to get through the game. I buy the following parts after the following races (1 player): After Race 2: Ultra Suspension After Race 4: Ultra Batteries After Race 5 or 6: Ultra Tires After Race 7: Ultra Gears After Race 9: Ultra Motor I have found this will get you to the end easily enough. Buying the Ultra Motor previously to this makes the competition a lot closer in later races. Much harder to win consistently if you do, however you will finish races faster and get more cash - assuming you win of course. Race 6 is the most difficult race with the above strategy. It is difficult in any case though - too many turns! The tires don't help much, it is possible to be able to afford them after Race 5, but you will only have a few $ left. Race 8 is quite hard too due to the continuous cornering. The drag race is vital in multi player mode for the extra cash. First gets $50 and second gets $25 (from memory - been a long time since I played with more than one person). Computer cars get stuck on certain corners on certain tracks - notably Race 2. Makes the race easy if you can avoid them, as you are under little pressure. Cornering is not as difficult as you may think. Don't listen for the sound, which alerts you of corners too late in later races, rather look for the arrows which are on one side of the track at MOST corners. If you come to an intersection with no arrows - do not turn. There are one or two corners total which don't have these arrows. ====================================================================== 8. _____ _______ Frequently Asked Questions /_()__()_ [READTHIS!] ====================================================================== Note - there aren't any yet, so I made some up. Q: Drag Race? I didn't get this after Race 5? A: The drag race is only played when 2 or more players make it through Race 5. Q: Can the game be beaten without buying all the Ultra parts? A: Potentially. I have made it to the last race without buying ANY ultra parts, however I probably only made it 2/3 of the way through the 2nd lap of this race (with the second best parts in each category). Q: I can't make it through Race X (Insert number for X)? A: Try buying different parts in revious races? Strategy as well as skill is needed to be the champion, especially wit multiple players! Q: My friend bought the Ultra Motor, I couldn't as it was sold out. I can't keep up to the other cars now! Why? A: This is one of the interesting features of the game. When you buy a part, the same colour car that you are using will also get these parts when the other players are racing. As an example, Player 1 (Red) buys the Ultra Motor. In the next race, for Player 2 (Blue), the Red car will have an Ultra Motor equipped. You can use this to REALLY annoy the other players, but be aware it won't win you any friends. In addition, the race two after you buy the parts, ALL computer opposition will be fitted with the parts. Basically buying a part will give you an advantage for one race only. Q: Can I choose the colour of my car? A: No. Player 1 will always be red, Player 2 will be blue, Player 3 will be Green and Player 4 will be Purple. Q: Is there multi player racing?
